Welcome to the Glacier Newcomers Alumnae Association.  We are a women’s social club in the beautiful Comox Valley located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. It is run by our members. GNAA is a member-funded, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization…and it is our pleasure to give back to this wonderful community in which we live.

 

Who Can Join

We welcome women who have completed their term in the Comox Valley Newcomers Association, women who have experienced a recent change in life’s circumstances or women who would like more opportunities for socializing and friendship.

Benefits of Joining

GNAA gives members opportunities to develop new and enhance existing friendships through various recreational, social and special interest activities.  We have an exciting lineup of activities to get you started— check our Activities page for more information.

Supporting Our Community

Each year GNAA supports a local charity by raising funds through 50/50 tickets sales at each our meetings and through donations from individual members and sometimes food or other types of donations. The membership chooses the charity each year. Any charity we select provides a tax receipt. For more information on the charities we have supported in the past, look at our About Us page.
